LAWFUL BASES & DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
Under UK data protection law, we must have a ‘lawful basis’ for collecting and using your personal information. There is a list of possible lawful bases in the UK GDPR. You can find out more about lawful bases on the ICO’s website.

WHERE WE GET PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM
• Directly from you
HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
• Contact information is stored indefinitely on password protected systems or until a request is received for removal.
• Hard copy volunteer sign-in, image consent and risk assessment sign-off forms are kept indefinitely in secure cabinets.
• Volunteer health and medical information provided for fieldwork health and safety purposes is kept securely in a locked cabinet for the duration of fieldwork for use in the event of a medical incident. This information is destroyed securely at the end of fieldwork.
